“We spent several months looking for a location, and I fell in love with downtown, I love the area,” said Kenneth Ross, owner of Cajun KrawStation.
Cajun KrawStation’s menu is full of traditional Louisiana-style dishes. It will serve crawfish, shrimp, blue crab, lobster, boudin balls, gumbo and much more. Cajun KrawStation’s seafood comes directly from Louisiana and Maine.
Ross told the News-Leader that he is excited about the opening. In the past year, he has had numerous calls and Google searches about his restaurant opening downtown.
This location on South Market will be a temporary spot for Cajun KrawStation while their permanent location on College Street is under construction.
Ross said choosing a location downtown came about when he got some advice from the owners of the nearby Blue Room Comedy Club.
Cajun KrawStation made a recent appearance at Taste of SOMO and with the positive feedback, it plans to open its doors in mid-September.
